Add a new block of text

1. Make sure you are in edit mode
2. Click 'new widget'
3. Choose 'plain text'
4. Edit your text in the text editor
5. Click 'update'

To edit an existing text widget, click the yellow edit label directly below it. 

Digital Fife websites use a fixed font, Open Sans, which cannot be changed. This is set at system level to ensure consistency and accessibility across all sites. 

Within the text editor the styles you can choose are:

• Paragraph
• Heading 1
• Heading 2
• Heading 3

As standard practice, Heading 1 is used for the main page title, Heading 2 for section titles, with Paragraph used for normal body text. 

You can also add hyperlinks and tables within the text editor.
