Allotments

DBHS manages the society's allotments in Dalgety Bay.  There are 48 full sized individual plots.  

To qualify for an allotment and to go on the waiting list for an allotment, you must be a member of the Society and be resident in Dalgety Bay or Hillend. 

Applicants may request a half or a full plot. 

Due to demand, there is a waiting list.  

The Society has some equipment, at the Allotments, available for members to use free of charge. Unfortunately, we can no longer lend electrical equipment.

All membership fees must be paid by the end of March and all allotment fees must by paid by the end of June. 

The annual fee for an allotment is currently £52.00, which is paid over and above the membership fee of £10.00 per annum.

Allotment holders may pay in two instalments of £26. The first payment must be made by the end of March and the second payment by the end of June.

We prefer members to pay through the bank (see our bank details below). If you do not use online banking then we will still collect cash payments.

Membership fees and Allotment Fees are reviewed annually at the AGM, in December.

Please note some banks expect the Account Name to be the full name (Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society).  Some banks do not allow all the letters to be typed in so just type in as many as it will allow you.
