About the Town Hall
Earlsferry Town Hall was purchased by community asset transfer on 31st March 2021. The ‘B’ listed building is situated on the main street in Earlsferry and was built in a simple baronial style designed by local architect John Currie (1840-1922) in 1864 and completed in 1872. The steeple tower of 1732 pre-dates the rest of the current building and once housed the Town Council Chambers on the ground floor and, in a cellar, the Town Jail.
The Trustees of Earlsferry Town Hall Limited, a Scottish charity (charity number SC050546) and a company limited by guarantee (registered in Scotland company number SC651627) run the Hall for the community.
