North Queensferry Climate Action Network
From North Queensferry to North Greensferry
North Queensferry Climate Action Network aims to promote awareness of the climate crisis and to take action to reduce our carbon footprint and move towards a net-zero goal. We aim to enable North Queensferry residents to become more resilient to the effects of climate change. We will work together for the environment as a whole and so improve both natural and cultural well-being.
We are active on Home Energy and Adaptation; Nature and Biodiversity; Transport and Active Travel and also Community Energy.
National Emergency Briefing (16+) showing at 16.00pm Sunday 20th September 2026 at the Community ComplexOn 27 November 2025, leading experts set out the evidence on the climate and nature crisis in a formal briefing to national decision-makers. This new film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation - and the credible, positive responses available - in a clear and accessible account. What can we do in North Queensferry? After the film show there will be time for discussion over coffee and biscuits. If you plan to come, please tell us so we know how many to cater for. Thank you! |
