Scoonie Bowling Green & Pavilion
Our office is based in Scoonie Bowling Pavilion.
When Fife Council decided in 2011 they could no longer financially support Scoonie Bowling Club we saw an opportunity to open Pavilion and Green up to the community. In April 2012 with support from Coalfields Regeneration Trust and a loyal band of volunteers we started updating the building with central heating and accessible toilet facilities.
The Pavilion is now a hive of activity being used by various individuals and groups every week day, Tuesday Club meets every Tuesday Night. Leven Community Council hold their monthly meetings from 7.00pm the last Thursday of the month to which members of the community are welcome to attend.
Scoonie Sunshine ClubThe Sunshine Club offers lunch and companionship to older people in the community who would welcome some company; transport can be provided. We're always looking for new members. |
Bowling Green Access
Kingdom FM - the local Radio Station together with the Bell Group granted us a Christmas Wish in December 2013 and installed a ramp for wheelchair access onto the bowling green.
Not sure if bowling is for you, come and try, we have different size bowls available.
